Free Halloween Black Cat Crochet Pattern with Witch Hat - Free Amigurumi

An orange witch hat with a slim black band gives this little black cat its Halloween look, while glossy eyes and a stitched mouth soften its expression. The figure has a round head, pointed ears, a compact body, and a slender tail worked in black yarn. This free black cat amigurumi crochet pattern includes the matching pointed hat, shown tilted over one ear. With the listed yarn and hook, the cat stands about 8–8.5 cm (3–3.3 in) tall without its hat.

How the Small Cat and Hat Take Shape

The head and body are crocheted as one piece, with a separate round base closing the bottom. Each ear is folded across its lower edge, and the tail is a narrow tube. From its tip, the orange hat widens through gradual increases, adds one black round, then opens into a broad brim. The step photos show the body before finishing, the separate parts, the facial stitches, and the finished cat wearing its hat.
