Shell
With brown yarn.

Shell Bottom

Eye Pads — Make 2
With white yarn.

Do not stuff. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Place the 2 Eye Pads together. With black embroidery floss, make the dividing line between them. Do not cut the black thread.

Assembly
- Sew the outer edges of the Shell triangle together, matching loop to loop. Keep the sewing yarn attached. See Photo 5.
- Stuff the Shell. Sew on the Shell Bottom; alternatively, insert the Bottom and crochet both pieces together around the edge with 18 sc.
- Attach light brown yarn to the Shell Bottom, bring it to the front, wrap it around the Shell in a spiral, secure, and hide the end.
- Using the yarn left from sewing the Shell, roll the Shell into a spiral and secure it. See Photos 6-7.
- Sew the Shell to the Body around its edge. Secure the Shell end with one tightening stitch, then bring the yarn through the neck and secure the Body to the Shell with one tightening stitch.
- Sew the Eye Pads in place. With the attached black thread, embroider the eyebrows and mouth.
- Glue one 6 mm half-bead onto each Eye Pad.
- Attach the 2 antennae by tying their yarn ends together and secure them with PVA glue.
- Add blush as shown.
