Assembly
- Sew the Legs beneath the Body around Rnds 8-12, with the inner edges about 4 sts apart. Before securing completely, place the bear upright and adjust both Feet until it stands evenly.
- Install the wrapped 24 cm armature before attaching the Head. Anchor the center U-bend firmly inside the upper back between Body Rnds 30-32. Bring one wire end out through each shoulder around Rnds 29-31, slide an Arm over each end, and sew the Arm openings securely to the Body. Keep one Arm hanging naturally and bend the other upward about 45–55° to match the waving pose.
- Join the 24-st Head opening to the 24-st Body opening stitch-to-stitch. Sew the Ears across approximately Head Rnds 9-13 with a slight forward cup.
- Sew the Eye Pads to the upper front of the Head with their centers about 9 sts apart; position one slightly higher for the uneven expression shown. Sew the Muzzle centered below them across approximately Head Rnds 15-21. Add the Nose, then embroider the 2 eyebrows and the vertical mouth line with a short curved finish.
- Embroider 3 short black toe lines on each Foot and 3 short claw lines on each Paw. Check that no wire can be felt through the Paw tips or shoulder seams.
- Wrap the Scarf once around the neck and cross the ends at the front. Add 1–2 small hidden securing stitches if needed.
