Green yarn, embroidered facial details, and brushed yarn hair give this Grinch amigurumi its familiar Christmas character. This free crochet pattern by Viktoria Shishkova makes a small figure measuring approximately 12 cm (4.7 in) tall. The head and body are worked as one continuous form, while the separately crocheted arms are joined during the body rounds. Black safety eyes and dark green and red embroidery complete the face.

From Body to Head
Seven stitches in a magic ring begin the body, which narrows at the shoulders. The head expands to 60 stitches, then tapers through the closing rounds. Three small leg pieces are crocheted separately and attached at the end. Only the lower ends of the arms are stuffed, leaving the upper sections flatter where they join the body. Finish the face with embroidery, secure the eyes between the specified rounds, and brush yarn strands into hair at the crown.
